Liam-My hard worker.......................
"I work my guts out" This is what I hear on a regular basis from my dear little 7 year old.
I have to give it to him though-he really does work hard for this family,he looks after his baby sisters, organises his big brother and does what I ask of him straight away.
I love this kid with all my heart,he is funny, charming, gorgouse and wise beyond his years, to say the least.
He has glasses for a lazy eye and they dont seem to be working-so we have to go and get another opinion from the specialist. They are suggesting that he has an opperation. We'll see how that goes......
Hi Rachel
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw that spider for your avatar I knew you had be Australian :) I am from Perth but am currently living in the UK.
7 kids? What a blessing :) I hope to get there one day myself!
Great to meet you!

Hi Rachel,
ReplyDeleteHats off to you! Wow, 7 kids! I bet you're a great mom. Wish I have at least 4, but I've only 2, and they're grown. There must be tons of work for you to do around the house. But seeing those kids of yours, ha, you must be one happy mom!
Oh I forgot to mention, I've heard that the treatment for lazy eye is to cover the good eye with an eye patch so that the 'lazy' eye will have to learn to focus. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cuty-pa-tooty!!!!
ReplyDeleteI had to chuckle a little with "I work my guts out". Out of the mouth of babes!!!!
I wonder if you did cover the good eye, if that would work, that was suggested by Jane??
I think little kids look so cute wearing glasses. Your son is adorable, I hope he doesn't need eye surgery.
ReplyDelete7 kids! your house must be spilling over with love!
Thank-you lovely ladies for your replies and kind words!!!We have tried the 'Captain' eye patch, but didnt work. Now its glasses and next they said he will have to get an op-so not looking forward to that.
ReplyDeleteBetter get a second opinion. Our bodies' not designed to be cut open now and then. There may be risks and side-effects. I'd lasik on my right eye, and now I've a slight double-vision.
ReplyDeleteWhat a spunk!!
